Greystone Data Solutions Inc is looking for a skilled Automation & Technical Support Technician to join our team in Southlake, TX. Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain automation systems and related hardware/software components
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation equipment and infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve system failures, connectivity issues, and performance problems in a timely manner
- Monitor automated systems and processes to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to implement system upgrades and improvements
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and support tickets accurately
- Train end-users and staff on automation tools, systems, and best practices
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in automation, technical support, or a related field
- Proficiency with automation systems, PLCs, or industrial control technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments
- Experience with data systems, IT infrastructure, or technical operations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, or automation-specific credentials) preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
